SUMMARY:  MADE OF HONOR is the story of womanizing Tom who discovers too late that he has feelings for his best friend Hannah who has just gotten engaged to "the perfect guy," Colin. This very familiar story is charming but not hilarious and has numerous sex references and scenes of implied sex along with brief foul language and images of scantily clad males and females.

IN BRIEF:

MADE OF HONOR is the story of womanizing Tom who is best friends with Hannah. When Hannah goes to Scotland on business, Tom discovers he has deeper feelings that go beyond friendship. Hannah returns, but brings along her new fiancé, Colin. Based on their years of friendship, Hannah asks Tom to be her Maid of Honor. Tom accepts with the hope of being close to the wedding so he can convince Hannah to marry him instead of Colin.

If this plot sounds familiar, that's because it is. There are not many laughs, though the movie is enjoyable. There are positive elements in that the heart of the movie is Tom deciding to "grow up" and admit he is in love with Hannah. This includes him coming to "believe in marriage." While the movie is rated PG-13, it certainly borders on an R-rating with the discussion of Tom's multiple girlfriends, a sex toy scene, and near nudity throughout. This world is a world where God is never mentioned either positively or negatively. The characters live their lives with no spiritual aspect and romantic love is the highest ideal they accomplish.
